new spot painting: pachinko

If you visit Tokyo, you’ll probably encounter a pachinko parlor or two — these brightly lit game palaces are usually noisy and crammed with players on games machines that look something like vertical pin-ball, with lots of steel balls falling and bells ringing. And so I was reminded of a pachinko parlor I passed frequently when I lived in Tokyo, once I completed this painting on paper using watercolor, Flashe and other synthetic polymer and pigments paints.
